LIONISTIC CAREER AND ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Joined Lionsim in 1979.
- Very active member of Lions Clubs International. Held several important positions at the District level.
- As District Chairman Twinning for 2006-2007, has organised several interesting meetings and laudable service projects, including providing free medicines to the poor and needy and free notebooks to municipal school children.
- Excellent leadership qualities and PR skills, an able Administrator.
- Excellent orator with a good sense of humour.
- Winner of prestigious Leadership Award and several other Awards including International President’s Appreciation Certificates.
As Vice District Governor, 2007-08:
- Successfully inducted several Lions in the movement and also installed new teams.
- Successfully coordinated the first ever International Twinning Project for Sight First with Lions of California and Nevada. Eye screening of 4000 patients and distribution of free spectacles to 3000 patients.
- As Chairman of the MERL Committee conducted the first ever joint MERL Seminar of District 323 A1, 2 and 3.
As District Governor, District 323 A1 - 2008-09:
- Provided excellent leadership & vibrancy to the district.
- Slogan – Service always in all ways.
- His concept of “Service Sunday” was very well accepted & has been popular through the Multiple & the Country
- Multiple District 323 PRO & Bulletin Editor – 2009-2010.

- Parke Davis (India) Limited Director, Purchasing
- Sinar Mas Group (Jakarta, Indonesia) General Manager – Procurement (Agribusiness Division)
- Jet Airways (India) Limited General Manager – Procurement & Administration
- Currently Secretary – General,
- Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association, an apex body of 800 Pharmaceutical and Bulk Drug Manufacturers in the country.
- Responsible for smooth functioning of the Association which includes liaison with various Ministries, DCGI, FDA. Also responsible for organizing & conducting training programs, CSR initiatives & P.R.
- Professional achievements have been mentioned in the International Edition of WHO’s WHO OF THE ASIAN PACIFIC RIM.
